I provide comprehensive speech and language services for children ages 2–12, offering individualized in-home sessions throughout San Mateo County. As a bilingual Spanish–English speech-language pathologist, I provide bilingual therapy and evaluations, depending on your family’s needs.
Bilingual Services
All services are available in Spanish, English, or a bilingual approach depending on your child’s needs and your family’s preferences. Providing therapy in a child’s home language supports stronger engagement, deeper understanding, and more meaningful progress. Families do not have to choose between supporting English development and preserving Spanish — both can be nurtured together.

Brief sessions to identify potential areas of concern and determine whether a full evaluation is
recommended.
Comprehensive Evaluations & Bilingual Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
In-depth assessments including formal and informal measures, culturally and linguistically
appropriate testing, and detailed written reports. Bilingual Independent Educational Evaluations
(IEEs) and consultation services are available for families seeking clarity regarding their child’s
communication skills across languages.
In-Home Therapy
Individualized therapy provided in your child’s natural environment to support meaningful,
functional communication.
Early Intervention Services
Support for young children during critical developmental stages, focusing on foundational
communication skills.

Payment
Jacqueline Tovar Speech Therapy does not accept insurance and operates on a private pay basis only. Payment is required at the time services are rendered. Upon request, I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits. Please be aware that the provision of a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement, as coverage and reimbursement policies vary by insurance plan. It is recommended that you verify your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider prior to beginning services.
Therapy Session Fees

Evaluation Fees

Includes evaluation in one of the following areas: speech sound disorders, language, or fluency. This will typically require 1 diagnostic session. A written report will be provided along with a follow up meeting to review findings and recommendations.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE): Fees are determined on a case-by-case basis. A detailed rate sheet outlining the specific costs associated with the requested evaluation will be provided to the school district to establish the final cost.
